Is collagen in shampoo & conditioner made from aborted babies?

This Christian boy in my class says it is and I'm like no way so went to the drug store and looked at shampoo bottles and one said collagen with (hydrolized animal protein) after it. I said that don't sound like a baby and he's like ';animal protein--we're animals. What do you think they do with all them buckets of babies?';

Is he right? I haven't used shampoo with that stuff since he told me and my hair is getting all frizzily. Is collagen in shampoo %26amp; conditioner made from aborted babies?
It's not from abortions.

It's from the foreskins when they circumcise baby boys. That's why nearly every guy in America is circumcised. The shampoo companies have bribed the doctors. Is collagen in shampoo %26amp; conditioner made from aborted babies?
what? this doesn't belong in this forum....
I've heard that, too, but I think that's a myth. Collagen does WONDERS for the hair. You gotta use it, my dear.
God NO! They do, however, use rendered animal carcasses, i.e. roadkill (goes to the rendering plant and turns into soaps and lotions).

Sorry, but hey, you asked.
LMAO

My but you're gullible.
he's an idiot. The truth is hot dogs are made from aborted babies.
gullible indeed. as in austin powers ';get my baby back, baby back....ribs! get in my belly baby!.

lol
Collagen in shampoos and conditioners is NOT made from aborted fetuses.

Companies use the cheapest material to make their products.

Cows, sheep and other domestic animals have lots of collagen in their hides and skin. When they slaughter these animals for food, they process the skin to get the collagen.

This is the cheapest, most plentiful, and easiest way of obtaining lots of collagen.

Aborted fetuses, while they have collagen in their skin, are so small that you would only be able to get a tiny amount of collagen from each one. Plus, the numbers of aborted babies is so few that you could not get anough collagen to supply industrial quantities needed to make shampoo and conditioner.

Plus, it is repulsive and repugnant to think anyone would use aborted fetuses in this way.

Even if a crazy shampoo company wanted to use aborted fetuses, if anyone found out, it would be headline news and the company would close in a second.
it IS made from animals, however, it is NOT from babies!

it comes from fibrous proteins (common in animals). thing is, the protein is hydrolyzed, meaning the protein decomposes by using water

it really helps coz it helps your hair to repair itself. besides, our hair is protein itself...

so dont fall for it... otherwise, it's an urban legend... and why did you post it here anyway? haha
