Baby shampoo works for the smell but wont get rid of fleas...they bury their heads in the skin and breathe through it...makes them look like their dead but their not. Get frontline for those pests. As for the baby shampoo it is mild enough so just for bathing it is fine. Can i use baby shampoo on my cat????
That's perfectly fine. Fleas drown in the water from any bath and it will be gentle on his skin and coat.
Unfortunately fleas are probably laying eggs and hatching in the environment and a bath won't get rid of them.
The best course of action is to get the topical flea medication from your vet to resolve the problem.
Yes you can, but it won't work. You will just torture the cat and yourself with no result. Buy some Frontline, spray or spot-on. It is not expensive and it works.
It will work temporarily if you leave your kitty lathered for 5 minutes. It's actually a great start before using a topical solution (several hours later though!), so you are not adding too many pesticides to your kitty.
sure you can
idk but i use shampoo on my kitten and i just wash it off really well and it doesnt seem to harm him
Call the vet! They will provide you with a good product.
