I was told that using baby shampoo can be harmful. They said the fact that it wont burn the eyes is good, but it can harm the hair and build up can be a negative thing. I am talking about anyone using it.
Has anyone else heard this?Ph of baby shampoo....?
it is not harmful to hair, in general. however, if you have chemically damaged hair, you need something that is made to reconstruct your hair. baby shampoo may actually even be TOO harsh for pre-damaged hair. but if you have pretty healthy (not chemically damaged) hair, i'm sure it'd be fine.Ph of baby shampoo....?
baby shampoo has a ph of 5.5
thats a balance
build up of any shampoo is bad, use something like charles worthingtons build up remover shampoo 1-2 times per month, its great
using baby shampoo wont harm your hair, judge by the condition of your hair, as i colour my hair, it can be dry and i use a nourishing shampoo and good conditioner, but if your hair is in good condition, why change?
it's intended to prevent or treat ';cradle cap';, is that something you need shampoo for? Use grownup shampoo on your hair, use diluted baby shampoo to wash out eyes that are gummy from allergies or contacts.
dont belive everything that you hear! i have never ever heard of this before.
i have never heard this. I cant be that harmfull if it is for babies can it?
Baby shampoo is slightly basic (alkaline).
It is not a powerful cleaner - baby's hair doesn't get that oily.
It's pretty harmless and leaves very little residue.
